1. Conservation

 

Under the following conditions of storage, the sugar is stable for a period of 2 years, this time the product should not present any alteration:

 

• Relative humidity (%): 55 – 65

• Temperature: 2 ° C above ambient temperature

• Preferably to adequate a moisture regulatory system

 

2. Security in Storage

The bags of sugar should be protected from moisture, heat, sparks, cigarette butts and pests that cause deterioration of the packing material. In case of fire, extinguish with multipurpose extinguisher.

Sugar is a combustible material, should not be dropped on items that can initiate combustion (spark, cigarette butts, etc.).

 

3. Packing

Sugar is packed in presentations 50kg of paper bags, laminated polypropylene bags, polyethylene bags inside polypropylene bags, the family sugar bag is packed in bags made of high density polyethylene.

 

Packaging Specifications:

Packaging presents seams or seals at both ends.

There is no risk when handling or re-use vacuum packaging with other materials.

- Identification of risks: Sugar is a material, not expose to direct heat or sparks.

- First aid measures: no risk of contact with eyes, skin or swallowed.

- Measures against fire: Extinguish with multipurpose extinguisher.

- Personal precautions: None in particular.

- Environmental precautions: Pollutes water generating high demand for oxygen.

- Cleaning Methods: The conventional, not special.

- Exposure Controls / Personal Protection: No special protection required for eyes, hands. No respirator is required.

- Hygiene measures: Wear rubber gloves and mask.

- Stability and Reactivity: The product is stable and does not present a high reactivity.

- Poison: No oral risks for skin irritation and so on. Not chronic toxic effects.

- Ecological information: Easy biodegradable.

- Regulatory information: Not considered a hazardous waste.
